Toledo Kroger Bargaining Ongoing
Sunday, August 22, 2010

The Bargaining Committee resumed negotiations on Saturday, August 21, 2010, for all contracts with Kroger in Toledo.

Local 75 and the Company exchanged comprehensive economic proposals including health care, wages, and the meat pension.  We are evaluating this latest proposal with assistance from the International Union and are analyzing the various components of this offer.  The two parties have resolved most language issues.  Your Bargaining Committee continues to work diligently in an effort to reach a fair settlement.

A Federal Mediator will continue to attend all future meetings, the schedule of which are to be determined.

As always, should you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact your Union Representative, or visit us online at www.ufcw75.org.
