Nearly 30,000 members strong, UFCW Local 75 represents workers along the I-75 corridor in supermarkets, drug stores, packing and processing plants, health care facilities and more. Our members live and work in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana, and our jurisdiction spans over 50 counties. So, in order to better serve the needs of a growing membership, we are moving the central office to a location in Dayton, Ohio:

The new location is at the center of our jurisdiction, halfway between Lexington, Kentucky and Toledo, Ohio. The Monroe Office provided us with nearly 10,000 square feet of office space, which we’ve long outgrown; our new space in Dayton provides over 50,000 square feet. The new office provides us not just with more space, and more useful space, but also improved technology. In fact, we purchased the building complete with furnishings including technological equipment (like projectors, audio systems, and screens), which gives us excellent facilities for training classes and educational seminars. There is also space that we are able to lease for rental income.
While the Dayton Office will be used for many events, members and retirees in Cincinnati and Toledo will still have the opportunity to attend meetings and events in regional locations in your areas. We hope this transition to a more regional model will be more convenient for all members. Toledo area meetings will continue to be held at the Holland Office; please watch for additional correspondence regarding new meeting locations in Cincinnati.
The administrative offices of the Unions and Employers Benefit Fund of Southwestern Ohio (the Union Health and Welfare Fund) will also be making the move to Dayton. This increase in space will allow us to move the Northwest Fund to Dayton in order to maximize efficiencies and provide for better use of resources. You can expect additional correspondence regarding new contact information for these offices.
As always, our goal is to serve you to the best of our abilities through enforcing our contracts, organizing new members, and electing candidates who will fight for the interests of working people. We look forward to continuing to serve you in our new location, and to growing our union, together.
